The crash, between three vehicles and a Bee-Line bus, took place around 11:05 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23 in Greenburgh at the intersection of Tarrytown Road and Hillside Avenue.
The crash occurred when a 2004 Cadillac Escalade driven by a 51-year-old man was traveling southbound on Hillside Avenue when he struck a 2013 Honda CRV that was stopped on westbound Tarrytown Road at the traffic light, said Greenburgh Police Sgt. Robert Whiting.
The Escalade continued and struck a 2016 Hyundai Elantra and a Bee-Line Bus both traveling eastbound on Tarrytown Road, Whiting said.
The driver of the Cadillac was transported to Westchester Medical Center with serious injuries.
The Honda was driven by a 38-year-old woman and occupied by a 48-year-old female and an infant. All three were transported to the WCMC with minor injuries, Whiting said.
The Hyundai was driven by a 52-year-old woman who was also transported to WCMC with minor injuries.
There were 11 passengers and the driver on the Bee-Line Bus. None reported any injuries, he added.
Greenburgh detectives are conducting the investigation into the cause of this accident.
